  • Clamps and support chains are supplied as part of a fully assembled kit.

  • Delivered ready for installation.

  • Option available with an NBR outer cover for hydrocarbons with up to 70% aromatic content.

  • Option available with an FKM outer cover for hydrocarbons with up to 100% aromatic content.

  • Alternative end connection solutions available, such as integrated or swaged fittings.

  • Hose assemblies available with internal diameters up to 6 m and lengths up to 51 m.

Advantages

“Cavmac” floating roof drainage hoses are flexible hoses designed for drainage systems of floating roofs on above-ground storage tanks (AST). They are also known as tank drains, storage tank drains, drainage hoses, tank water drain hoses, floating roof drains, roof drainage systems, or flexible steel drainage pipes for floating roof tanks.

Floating roof drainage hoses are specifically engineered to withstand immersion in corrosive liquids within a temperature range of −25 °C to +100 °C, and their construction prevents hose collapse due to external pressure. The hose is also specially designed with negative buoyancy, which prevents it from floating in the liquid contained within the tank.

The hoses can be resistant to aromatic hydrocarbons up to 100% (including crude oil, gasoline, and other common bulk petrochemical products), are electrically conductive and antistatic, and are suitable for both suction and discharge applications.
