Built-in and chemically bonded couplings are designed for non corrosive and
non abrasive applications. Metal fi ttings are built into the hose ends during
manufacture to form an integral part of the assembly. No external wire or
clamps are required as the fi tting is chemically bonded into the hose and
mechanically locked with wire which is embedded in the hose wall between the
two steel bands, securely retaining the fi tting in position.
Built-in two band hose tail
Most common option. Hose tail with 2 bands commonly used for dock loading
or unloading applications. Working pressure range is 5 Bar – 25 Bar.
Rubber lined built-in hose tail
Metal fi ttings are built and vulcanized into the hose ends during manufacture to
form an integral part of the assembly. The fi tting is encapsulated in rubber thus
exhibiting a metal free lining. This system is recommended for very heavy-duty
slurry and dredging applications. Working pressure range up to 25 Bar.
Built- in single band hose tail
Hose tail with a single retaining band for lower pressure applications and for
installations where a shorter hose tail is required due to space constraints or
bending radius requirements.
Working pressure range: up to 10 bar.
High pressure built-in with three band hose tail
Three band hose tail can withstand working pressure up to 60Bar.
Working pressure range is 25 bar – 60 Bar.
